Vietnamese Passport
1. First-time issuance
- Eligible Applicants: Vietnamese citizens in Australia/New Zealand who have never held a passport.
- Required Documents: Vietnamese birth certificate, nationality documents, 4x6 photos.
- Processing Time: 4–6 weeks.
- Note: Proof of nationality required; application can be submitted via IPIA on your behalf.
2. Passport Renewal
- Eligible Applicants: Vietnamese passports that are about to expire or have already expired.
- Required Documents: Original passport, 4x6 photos, application form.
- Processing Time: 4–6 working days.
- Note: The old passport will be corner-cut upon receiving the new one.
3. Lost Passport
- Eligible Applicants: Vietnamese citizens who have lost their passport in Australia/New Zealand.

1. Report to the police & obtain a confirmation letter.
2. Submit the reissuance application at the Vietnamese Consulate or via IPIA. - Processing Time: 7–10 working days (may take longer depending on verification).
